How To Calm The Tears

Sometimes we all have those moments when the day gets rough and it feels like the world is piling on your shoulders. When you hear his name and it makes your heart burn. We all have those times in life when you can’t help but feel the tears sting your eyes and loose control of your emotions. So write these down, store them away on your phone, and remember them when you can feel yourself start to loose control. Here are my tips on how to get over those tears and calm your heart down. 
1. Take deep breaths. In through your nose and out your mouth. Do that 10 times, until you feel your breathing calm down and your heartbeat settle.
2. Don’t let those thoughts come back into your head for the time being. Every time you feel them start, keep breathing.
3. Turn the sad music off, it helps no one, only makes you feel worse. Put on something calming or just listen to the world outside. But do not let that sad music hurt your soul.
4. Get out of bed and put on something comfy, anything that makes you feel at home.
5. Find some eye drops and squeeze them into your eyes. Do not look into the mirror to see your bloodshot tears and let them hurt you again. Blink until the sting goes away.
6. Go to the cabinet and get two Advil. Drink them with a whole glass of water. 
7. Wash you face with warm water. Crying makes your face feel dry so hydrate it again. Wash away your worries.
8. Go into the kitchen and put on some water for tea. While the water is boiling count your blessings, realize how lucky you are.
9. Take your tea back to bed with you. Climb into bed. Get all the blankets you need. Turn on your favorite film and snuggle down.
10. Don’t watch anything that makes your heart ache. Watch re- runs of your favorite TV show or YouTube videos of the person that makes you laugh.
11. When the lights go off at night and the world turns to darkness, do not remember those tears you shed earlier. Practice your breathing. Feel your body relax and let your mind fall into a peaceful sleep.
12. Never ever forget your worth. Sometimes the road gets rough and life throws rocks at you. But do not let those troubled days slip into the happiness of the rest. Remember your beauty inside and out. Keep going.
